Spray foam insulation in Wrexham homes
Wrexham is the largest settlement in North Wales and was granted city status in 2022. It lies close to the English border, a short drive from Chester, with Flintshire to the north and the Dee Valley and Clwydian Range to the west. We give free advice on spray foam and arrange quotes from vetted removal companies covering north-east Wales.
Spray foam removal cost in Wrexham
Loft spray foam removal is priced per square metre, typically £50-80 per m². Open-cell foam sits at the lower end of that range and closed-cell foam at the upper end, because it is denser and bonds harder to the timber. For a typical UK loft that works out at between £3,000 and £8,500, and most three-bedroom properties take 2-5 days.
We do not publish a separate price for Wrexham. The price is set by the removal company after a survey, and it depends on the size of the loft, the type of foam and how easy the roof space is to reach.

Wrexham property information
Local housing stock
Wrexham features Victorian and Edwardian terraces, inter-war suburbs, and modern estates. North East Wales has market towns like Mold and attractive rural areas in the Clwydian Range.
Local considerations
The villages around Wrexham grew with coal, steel and brickmaking, and terraces in the local red Ruabon brick are common. Mining history is reported on separately by surveyors. Llangollen and the Dee Valley fall within a protected landscape and a World Heritage Site centred on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Many residents work across the border, and lenders apply the same rules in Wales as in England.
