More than a list of phone numbers.

Spray foam problems often involve lenders, surveys, documentation and unfamiliar technical language. We help you make sense of it, introduce relevant companies and remain available while you decide what to do.

Focus on the outcome

The job is not just removing foam. It is helping you move forward.

The right solution depends on why the foam has become a problem and what evidence your lender, buyer or surveyor needs. We help you ask better questions before you appoint anyone.

  • Clarify the reason removal is being considered before comparing quotes.
  • Ask each company what is included, excluded and supplied when work is complete.
  • Check requirements directly with your lender, buyer or surveyor where relevant.
  • Keep photographs, invoices, reports and other evidence together for future use.

The Homeowner Promise

Advice first. Your choice throughout.

We are paid by companies for successful introductions. That never removes your right to compare, ask questions, decline a quote or choose someone else.

Our commitments to homeowners

No pressure to appoint

An introduction is not a recommendation to accept a particular quote.

Transparent roles

The company you select is responsible for its survey, advice, contract and workmanship.

Practical comparison

We encourage you to compare scope, documentation, timescale and aftercare—not price alone.

“When looking for a reliable firm to remove the spray foam from our loft, I came across Spray Foam Removal Advice online and made contact with them. Their senior advisor, Jake Harber, visted the house, inspected the spray foam insulation in the loft and wrote us a very balanced report. Following this, we deided to go ahead with the removal, which Jake managed, using AGM Remediation Ltd. They were punctual, efficient, quiet, friendly and polite. Following the removal of the spray foam, we received a detailed written report and certification. Overall we were very pleased with the service received.”

“Spray removal provided excellent service and were extremely helpful throughout. Having received three incredibly expensive quotes for my parents’ property and being told it was likely the foam would need to be removed externally I am very relieved I contacted them for advice. Their contractors visited the property, carried out surveys and were confident that the foam could be removed internally. They were professional, courteous and reassuring. A week later they started work and the foam was successfully removed in three days. They were efficient, tidy and very polite and really put my parents at ease. The certification and report gives you peace of mind that the work has been completed properly. Many thanks for your excellent service.”

What exactly does SFRA do?

SFRA provides homeowner guidance and, with your consent, introduces suitable companies from its approved network. The company you choose is responsible for its own survey, quotation, contract, advice and removal work. We remain available to help you understand the journey and communicate with the companies involved.

Is the service really free for homeowners?

Yes. Homeowners do not pay SFRA for advice or company matching. Companies may pay us for introductions. You are under no obligation to accept a visit or quote, and you remain free to use another company.

Does spray foam always need to be removed?

No single answer applies to every property. The reason for concern, the foam type and condition, the roof structure and the requirements of a lender, buyer or surveyor can all matter. Get the relevant requirements in writing before commissioning removal where possible.

Can removing spray foam guarantee a mortgage?

No. A removal company cannot guarantee a lending decision. Removal and suitable evidence may help, but each lender applies its own criteria and may require surveys or other documentation. Check the exact requirements with the lender or mortgage adviser.

How should I compare removal quotes?

Compare the scope of work, access arrangements, how roof timbers will be protected, waste removal, what happens if damage is found, timescale, insurance, payment terms, photographs, reports, certificates or other completion evidence, and the process for resolving concerns.
