Spray Foam Removal Services

1. Quotation Validity

This quotation is valid for the period stated on the quote document from the date of issue. After this period, the quotation may be subject to revision. Any changes in scope or specifications may result in a revised quotation.

2. Definitions

"The Company" refers to Better Home Hub Ltd trading as Spray Foam Removal Advice (SFRA). "The Customer" refers to the person or entity named on the quotation. "The Works" refers to the spray foam removal and any associated services described in the quotation. "The Property" refers to the property address specified in the quotation where the works are to be carried out.

3. Acceptance & Deposit

Acceptance of this quotation is confirmed upon payment of the deposit specified on the quote. The deposit is non-refundable and secures your booking in our schedule. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final balance due upon completion of the works.

4. Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due within 3 working days of completion of the works. Payment can be made by bank transfer to the account details provided on the final invoice, or by credit/debit card via the payment link included in the invoice. A 1.5% processing fee applies to all card payments. A late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding balance will be applied to any payments not received within 14 days of the invoice date. The Company reserves the right to charge statutory interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. All removal certificates, inspection reports, and associated documentation will be withheld until the final invoice balance has been paid in full. Documentation will be issued by email within 3 working days of the final balance being received and confirmed.

5. Scope of Work

The works to be carried out are limited to those items specifically described in the quotation. Any additional work identified during the project will be discussed with the Customer and quoted separately before being undertaken. The Company is not obligated to carry out any work not specified in the original quotation without a separate agreement.

6. Access & Site Conditions

The Customer must ensure clear and safe access to the loft area and work site prior to the team's arrival. All personal belongings, stored items, and obstructions must be removed from the loft before work commences. If access conditions are found to be materially worse than anticipated or described at the time of quotation, additional charges may apply and will be communicated to the Customer before proceeding.

7. Working Hours & Duration

Standard working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our team will arrive between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the scheduled start date. The estimated duration shown on the quotation includes buffer time for unforeseen circumstances such as additional cleaning, weather delays, or other factors. Work often completes ahead of the estimated schedule.

8. Liability & Damage Disclaimer

The Company and its partners shall not be held liable for any damage, damp, mould, condensation, rot, structural defects, or roofing issues that are caused by or related to the presence of spray foam insulation. The removal of spray foam may reveal pre-existing issues that were previously concealed, including but not limited to timber damage, moisture ingress, inadequate ventilation, or structural concerns. The Company accepts no responsibility for such pre-existing conditions.

9. Included Services

Unless otherwise stated on the quotation, the following services are included at no additional charge: loft ladder provision for safe access, floor and carpet protection (including protective sheeting), post-removal cleaning and vacuuming of the work area, responsible waste disposal, and a certificate of removal with accompanying report suitable for mortgage lenders.

10. Waste Disposal

All removed spray foam insulation and associated waste materials will be disposed of in full compliance with UK environmental regulations. The Company holds the appropriate waste carrier licences and will ensure all waste is transported to and processed at licensed waste facilities.

11. Guarantee

All workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee covers the quality of the removal work carried out and does not extend to pre-existing defects, structural issues, or conditions that were present prior to or caused by the spray foam installation. Any claims under this guarantee must be reported to the Company in writing within the guarantee period.

12. Cancellation

Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice before the scheduled start date will incur no charge beyond the forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total quotation value to cover costs already incurred. The Company reserves the right to postpone scheduled works due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its control, in which case the Customer will be offered the next available dates at no additional cost.

13. Insurance

The Company holds comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity cover for all works undertaken. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
